Troy Dillinger has been a staple in the Austin music scene for 15 years, and the Del Dragons always deliver solid, old fashioned rock and roll with a Stonesy swagger. No alt-rock or cookie-cutter grunge here, just intelligent lyrics and strong melodies. Gray flannel and gloom may be indigenous to the cold blue North, but here in the red hot South we like our rock and roll served up with hot sweaty guitars.

    During last year's SXSW, the band members spent countless hours networking in the Four Seasons lobby bar--but did it work? Why, yes it did. Dillinger and gang are headed to Europe in the spring--the band was signed by French label DixieFrog Records.

    Their CD "Southern Jumbo" is currently spinning all over Europe and I've seen four great reviews judging by the four-star ratings, as I can't read French). I didn't need anyone to translate, "...le rock, le blues, le boogie..."
