The Troy Dillinger Dirty & Hairy Film Festival DVD & CD

Troy Dillinger's Dirty & Hairy Film Festival is a collaboration between Austin's Film, Music Scene and Business communities. 10 Austin Filmmakers independently wrote, directed and shot the short films that make up the festival. The shorts were based on music from Dillinger's latest recording, Dirty & Hairy . The songs include "Another Song About Love," I Got To Love You," "Pencil Me In," "Surrender," "Leavin' This Evening," "Strong Arms," "Just 'Cuz," "Candle Shop," "Forgive Me," "Bitter Old Fool," "Jam For tomorrow."
Over 30 Austin businesses helped the production of the short films by donating goods & services to each production. This project is the first of it's kind: Art that is made independently by the local community which contributes back to the community. The businesses include Vamp, Whole Foods Market, JP's Java, WET, Pink, Banana Moon Salon, Forbidden Fruit, Upstairs, Swerve Coffee Lounge, Action Screen Graphics, Hyde Park Gym, Gear, Terri Ewton, Mike's Print Shop, Media Tool Box, 7 Restaurant, Granite Cafe, Daily Juice, Austex Spas, Austex Fence & Deck, San Jose Hotel, Anderson's, Sweet Leaf Tea, Massage Therapy, blue Velvet, Lataria Massage Therapy, Ruta Maya Cafe, Yellow Rose and South Austin Music.
The Festival is in partnership with AMN-15, The Austin Music Network as it's non-profit benefactor. The festival was produced by Troy Dillinger in association with AMN-15, The Austin Music Network.
The CD was produced by Mack McNabb, and recorded at Oxford Audio in South Austin. Dirty & Hairy musicians include Troy Dillinger (vocals, guitars, lap steel), Barry "Frosty" Smith (drums, percussion), Bruce Salmon (key synth, rhythm samples) and Mack McNabb (bass, organ, guitars, percussion).
